About Us

My name is Rachel and I have been treating nails since 2002 and started this by chance. I was frustrated with my position as a legal secretary and needed a career with job satisfaction.

I have always posessed a natural flair for art so I decided to enroll on a nail art training course at the Grimsby Institute. Needless to say, I got the nail bug and went on to complete a course in gel and acrylic nail enhancements.

I did not leave my position as a legal secretary straight away; I initially advertised as a mobile nail technician in order to gain a reputation. Due to the huge demand I ended up retiring from my secretarial seat to become self-employed.

A mobile business was not exactly what I wanted, so I researched into setting up an area within an existing local salon. I sucessfully located a hair design salon in Cleethorpes to offer my services, from which I worked for 2 and a half years.

Once again demand for my services grew so I decided to expand further and open my own salon; which is where I am today. The original nail geek!
